Idea Development 2
For this idea development, i had quite a clear idea on the final outcome, so the only real experimentation and development i put in my book were the poses i drew, tryinng to make it feel less stiff and more dynamic.
Pose Experiments
Generally, the poses at the top of the page look more lopsided and less interesting when compared to the ones at the bottom.
Realistically, since (i think) javelin throw is a test of how far the javelin is thrown, these isnt the best poses, but i think it looks cool and most people wouldn't really care (i think)
Design 2 Developed Version
Overall, im quite happy with this design. It uses an analogous color scheme (i think? or is it monochrome? I dont really remember). Im quite happy with the final poses when compared to my sketches.
If this was made as my final, i would have the outlines and spears in etching while the poses are in lino. However, printing would be much easier if each of the poses had their own lino piece. This would also allow me to experiment with the layering of each print.
