Hard Etching Plate

For this etching plate, i realised i needed to use different cutting tools like knives and rulers to make marks. I was also running out of time so it is just a small piece.

I use a hard etching plate for a piece of my final. (I personally think hard etching plates feel better to cut/scratch)

This is my second best print using the hard etching sheet.

There are various areas under inked, mainly the top left forner and some other regions throughout.

There is also some smudging on the ruler marks and cutter marks.

There is also a fair amount of ink not lifted throughout the piece.

This was my first print using the hard etching plate. it is overall under-cleaned, and the squares have so much ink it became a blob.

Cleaned better than the last one, but not cleaned enough (trails of black).

at least the leakage is not too bad this time though

Much better than the other two. just the overall smudging ruining the etching though.

Easily my best hard etching plate print during this unit
