Experiments
This was done right before cutting into the big lino piece i had. This was to experiment with smaller aspects of my print to make sure it worked.

In the end, i decided to make a piece that experimented with my initial design idea, which mixed some elements of lino and etching together.
(I ended up changing this in my final design though)
Lino Piece + Etching Piece

The text on the etching plate was upside down. This ruined the print (since i wrote the text normally rather than flipping it)

This was a good learning experinece. Since i made the mistake now, I am less likely to make the same mistake in the future.
This lino piece was a hard one. this means it has a surface i can draw on, which made it much easier to sketch out the design before cutting.
(its shiny becuase i took the photo after the oil print)

Prints

Due to timing constraints, not all of my lino prints could be etching printed onto. These are the ones i did not print onto.

The ones where i actually did do the 2 prints together are below
These Lino prints are either over or under inked.

"Completed" Prints
Although these prints were done with both etching and lino, they were not done really well...

Under inked

Better, but still under cleaned
under inked

Lines are not clear and the cleaning was insufficient
Through these experiments, it is clear that my skill level is still not sufficient wen printing with etching. Because of this, i tried to minimise the need for the etching.

This is my oil print. It is under inked, and does not have the etching yet.

I think the grainy effect would be cool if i did another print of only the bottom (so the bottom has no white dots and the "sky" has loads. This would make it more interesting.
